As stated in the whitepaper, the maximum supply of Futurepia coins (PIA) will be 22.2 billion. The first 11.1 billion PIA were issued during the genesis block while the rest 11.1 billion PIA is now issued after the Futurepia hard fork.

Futurepia hard fork was implemented to allow new DApps to join Futurepia ecosystem using the PASTA (PIA Alliance Standard Token Agreement) protocol - a technology standard for Futurepia-based tokens.
